Villa Zaztun's Lost and Found Policy

Safes are provided in each condo and are to be used to store valuable items. Villa Zaztun is not liable for the theft, loss, damage or destruction of such items in the absence of gross negligence on the part of the property owners or staff.

The Villa Zaztun property owners, managers and staff follow direct instructions and guidelines mandated by local laws. The points below are examples to guide such but not limited to:

1. Found Valuables: are reported to the property owner or manager with the description, date and time found, person who found it, guest full details (if found in the guest room) otherwise no guest details if found in public areas. Please be advised that any such lost and found item will be stored for 60 days on property and will then be disposed of in any manner the property owner or manager sees fit.

2. Found clothing, shoes, toys and similar: are reported to the property owner or manager with the description, date and time found, person who found it, guest full details (if found in the guest room) otherwise no guest details if found in public areas. Please be advised that such lost and found items will be stored for 60 days on property and will then be disposed of in any manner the property owner or manager sees fit.

3. Found perishable items and liquor: are reported to the property owner or manager with the description, date and time found, person who found it, guest full details (if found in the guest room) otherwise no guest details if found in public areas. Please be advised that such lost and found items will be directly disposed of in any manner the property owner or manager sees fit.

4. Any items left in or next to the garbage cans or bins are considered refuse and will be discarded. Villa Zaztun is not responsible for items that appear to be for disposal. Guests are encouraged to avoid confusion by placing all items in the drawers and cabinets provided, or in their luggage.
