Apartment vacation rentals in Cozumel

I stayed at Villa Zaztun in June 2014 for a week of diving. The accommodations were great. It's a nice place, gated and within walking distance to grocery shopping (Chedraui), cabs, and restaurants. On our last night there Tommy and Sarah came up and played cards with us. Our stay was very memorable and enjoyable due in no small part to their hospitality.

We stayed here for a week and it truly made the trip even better than what we had hoped for. The apartment was spacious with 2 balconies and a large bedroom and living area and it had everything we needed. The water pressure was great and the shower head was high (this is unusual in Mexico!). Everything was spotless.

There is a great grocery store a 2 min walk away that has everything you need and it's 5 min to the ocean and 10 min to walk "downtown". We felt very safe in this neighborhood walking around at any time of day or night.

The rooftop patio is the best part though, there is a great breeze up there and it's got a nice view of the city. Perfect place to start and end the day.

The owners are wonderful, we didn't see them a lot but they were available at any time to answer and questions and give us tips on where to go and what to see.

We will be back here, I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a great experience in Cozumel.

Had amazing vacation. Close to ocean. Accessible to all possible activities. Whether you want to just relax or be on the go you can do it here. Hosts incredibly knowledgable and helpful. Fabulous time had by all.

Stayed 2 weeks with Tommy and Sarah and had the best time ever. We have been to Cozumel many times, but this was our first time at Villa Zaztun and definitely one of the best experiences we have had on Cozumel. We ate at little back street places, went diving everyday and even rented a little vw, all of this was due to our hosts as we would never have ventured to do this without their great advice! Tommie and Sarah offer a unique unseen side of Cozumel that most would not see. Thank you again Tommy and Sarah for a wonderful time!!

What a wonderful time wonderful hosts and tour guides to all that Cozumel has to offer. Tommy & Sarah as americans who live in Cozumel year round know some of the bes tlocal restaurants to eat at and things to do. Went snorkelling at Punta Sur and saw the most amazing fish, and reef a very beautiful place.

I have stayed at Villa Zaztun twice now and will definitely be back. Sarah and Tommy are great hosts. They know the island well and will guide you to gems far away from the tours and cruise ships.

The apartment is very clean and comfortable. The rooftop patio is spacious and perfect. Internet is rock solid with great speed and signal. The grocery store is like two or three blocks away. I highly recommend to any and all this is the place to stay. My husband, returning from a year in Afghanistan, and I spent 6 weeks here getting him unwound. Sarah and Tommie were above and beyond gracious hosts and pointed us in all the right directions for close by super food and fun. We've seen and done things the regular tourist wouldn't know about, thanks to them. We had a wonderful time and hope we can return some day.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Zaztun. The location was great with easy access to downtown, diving, shopping, etc. The apartment was spacious, clean and stocked with everything you needed. At night you can go upstairs to the sitting area on the roof and enjoy a drink and wind down. Tommy and Sarah were outstanding hosts. We wanted to try more of the local food and they took the time out to take us to some great little places that a tourist wouldn't find on their own. One day I was feeling under the weather and couldn't dive and Tommy went on the dive so my wife would have a dive buddy. Wouldn't stay any other place...

My family and I stayed in villa zazun in San Miguel Cozumel this summer and had a great time. The apartment was great: safe, clean and nicely decorated. The owners tommy and Sarah were gems. They were always friendly and available to answer any questions and offer great suggestions about all of our activities from good restaurants, surf lessons from nacho and good places to go snorkeling. We liked staying in San Miguel instead of a resort, feeling like we had genuine cultural experiences that we wouldn't have at a resort. My kids, 15 and 12, felt that way too. You won't find a nicer place with better value.

We stayed at Villa Zaztun in January 2011 and had a great family holiday over three weeks, enjoying the company of our hosts and their two friendly dogs.
We were received at the airport by Tommy and Sarah (direct flight from Dallas) and settled easily into the comfortable two room apartment which is well-equipped for self-catering.

We recommend this place very highly and have unforgettable memories of the holiday.
